Mitch the Puma Boy

This is Mitch he's a character from the comic I'm trying to make called Spirit of the Animals, It's main characters are able to connect to their spirit animals and change into said animal. Mitch doesn't show up for quiet some time though but some info about him is he's about two years older then the main character Riley and becomes his best friend as well as act like a bit of a mentor when Riley first learns about his abilities.
I really tried to push myself with this picture to really make sure I didn't get lazy when it came to the background especially, for what I'm capable of right now I feel I did a good job. I'm still working on perspective drawing, lighting, and just backgrounds in general. I didn't use any references for the background except what I could recall from pictures I've seen in my head. I'm very proud of my mountains. With ever picture I improve just a little and learn something new, and that's satisfying to know.
